Day 1
Luang Prabang – Arrival (No Meals)
- Welcome to Luang Prabang! Upon arrival at the airport, meet your driver for a private transfer to your hotel. The remainder of the day is free to relax or explore at leisure.
- Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 2
Luang Prabang – Pak Ou Cave & Khuang Si Fall (B)
- Enjoy breakfast at your hotel.
- Cruise upstream on the Mekong River to visit Pak Ou Caves, stopping en route at Whiskey Village (Ban Xang Hai) for a taste of traditional Lao rice whiskey.
- Continue to Khouang Si Waterfall, passing the bustling Phousi Market. Take a refreshing dip in turquoise pools, visit the Bear Sanctuary and stroll through the Butterfly Park.
- End the day with a climb up Mount Phousi for panoramic sunset views over Luang Prabang.
- Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 3
Luang Prabang City Tour (B)
- Optional: Participate in the Alms Giving Ceremony (early morning).
- Explore Luang Prabang’s charm on foot: Wat Xiengthong, Wat Visoun, Wat Chomkhong, and traditional Lao and French Colonial architecture.
- Visit the Arts & Ethnology Centre and Royal Palace Museum.
- Evening: Attend a performance at the Royal Ballet Theatre (depending on schedule).
- Stroll through the Night Market for textiles and handicrafts.
- Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 4
Luang Prabang – Nong Khiaw (B)
- Drive north to Nong Khiaw.
- Board a longtail boat on the Nam Ou River to visit Muang Ngoi, a charming riverside village. Stroll through the village and enjoy spectacular limestone karst scenery.
- Return to Nong Khiaw and relax with views of the river at sunset.
- Overnight in Nong Khiaw.
Day 5
Nong Khiaw – Luang Prabang – Vang Vieng (By Train) (B)
- Early morning trek to Pha Som Nang Viewpoint for panoramic views (approx. 2.5 hours).
- Return to Luang Prabang and transfer to the train station for your high-speed train to Vang Vieng.
- Arrive in Vang Vieng, surrounded by breathtaking limestone mountains and tranquil rivers.
- Overnight in Vang Vieng.
Day 6
Vang Vieng – Cycling & Caves Tour (B)
- Cycle past rice paddies, karst landscapes, and local villages.
- Visit Tham Chang Cave, Dok Ngern (Silver Flower Cave), and pause at Pha Deng (Red Cliff).
- Continue to one of the Blue Lagoons for swimming and relaxation. Return by evening for sunset.
- Overnight in Vang Vieng.
Day 7
Vang Vieng – Hot Air Balloon & Blue Lagoon – Vientiane (By Train) (B)
- Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Ride (5:45–6:45 AM): Soar over misty mountains and rivers as the sun rises.
- After breakfast, visit the Blue Lagoon for swimming and leisure.
- Afternoon transfer to the train station for your high-speed train to Vientiane.
- Overnight in Vientiane.
Day 8
Vientiane – Flight To Pakse – Bolaven Plateau (B)
- Morning flight to Pakse.
- Explore Tadlo Waterfalls and ethnic minority villages (Ban Kiengtanglae, Ban Nanong).
- Visit the colorful Tha Teng Market and continue across the Bolaven Plateau, stopping at Ban Pong (Alak village) and Ban Kokphung (Katu village).
- Overnight in Bolaven Plateau (Paksong area).
Day 9
Pakse - Flight Back To Vientiane – Departure (B)
- Free at leisure until your transfer to the airport for a flight back to Vientiane and onward departure.
