Day 1

Arrive Paro – Transfer to Thimphu

    • Transfer to Thimphu, the charming capital city of Bhutan.

Thimphu Full-Day Sighteeing

  • Altitude: 2,350 m
  • Morning visits:

    • National Memorial Chorten: Built in memory of the Third King of Bhutan.

Excursion to Punakha / Wangdue

    • Chhimi Lhakhang (Temple of Fertility): Short hike to the temple dedicated to Lama Drukpa Kuenley.
    • Punakha Dzong: A 17th-century masterpiece known as the “Palace of Great Happiness,” and winter residence of the Chief Abbot.
    • If time permits, visit the Punakha Suspension Bridge, one of the longest in Bhutan.

    • In Paro:

Excursion to Taktshang Monastery(Tiger's Nest)

    • Hike (2–3 hrs) to Taktshang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest), perched dramatically on a cliff 900 m above the valley floor.
    • Afternoon (time permitting):
      • Visit Drukgyel Dzong ruins with a stunning view of Mt. Jhomolhari.
      • Visit Kichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest temples.
