Day 1
BAGDOGRA AIRPORT – PHUENTSHOLING
- (165 Kms | Approx. 4–4.5 Hours Drive)
- Arrive at Bagdogra Airport. Meet & greet by our representative and transfer to Phuentsholin.
- On arrival, complete immigration formalities at the Bhutan entry point.
- Check-in at the hotel and relax.
- Evening free to explore Phuentsholing local area.
- Dinner at the hotel.
- Overnight stay in Phuentsholin.
- Places Covered: Phuentsholing Bhutan Entry Gate, Immigration Building, Central Park.
Day 2
PHUENTSHOLING – THIMPHU
- (163 Kms | Approx. 5 Hours Drive)
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- After completing pre-registration formalities at the immigration counter, drive to Thimphu.
- En-route stop at Chuzom, the confluence of Thimphu and Paro rivers, adorned with Tibetan, Nepalese, and Bhutanese style stupas.
- Arrival in Thimphu and check-in at the hotel.
- Afternoon sightseeing in Thimphu Valley including:
- Buddha Point (Kuensel Phodrang): Offers panoramic views of Thimphu Valley and houses the largest Buddha statue in Bhutan.
- King’s Memorial Chorten: Built in memory of the Third King of Bhutan, a revered site for peace and prayer.
- Dinner at the hotel.

Day 3
THIMPHU – WANGDI / PUNAKHA EXCURSION – THIMPHU

- Drive towards Wangdi (Wangdiphodrang), the last town before entering Central Bhutan.
- Cross the scenic Dochula Pass (3,080 m / 10,102 ft) offering breathtaking Himalayan views.
- Visit Punakha Dzong, one of Bhutan’s most beautiful fortresses.
- Visit Chimi Lhakhang (Fertility Temple).
- View the 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens built by the Queen Mother at Dochula Pass.
- Evening drive back to Thimphu.
- Overnight stay in Thimphu.
- Places Covered: Dochula Pass, Punakha Dzong, Suspension Bridge.
Day 4
THIMPHU – PARO

- Ta Dzong (National Museum): Former watchtower showcasing Bhutanese art, weapons, textiles, and antiques.
- Rinpung Dzong (Paro Dzong): Known as the “Fortress of the Heap of Jewels,” famous for its murals depicting Buddhist teachings.
- Dinner at the hotel.
- Overnight stay in Paro.

Day 5
PARO – TAKTSHANG MONASTERY (TIGER’S NEST)
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Excursion to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest) – approx. 5 hours round trek.
- The monastery is perched 900 meters above Paro Valley and is one of Bhutan’s most sacred sites.
- Legend says Guru Rinpoche meditated here after arriving on the back of a tigress.
- Afternoon visit to Drukgyel Dzong, a historic ruined fortress with views of Mount Chomolhari.
- Evening visit to Kyichu Lhakhang, a 7th-century temple built by Tibetan King Songtsen Gampo.
- Dinner at the hotel.
